Development and Climate Alliance

STANDARD
1
This standard covers 1 Environmental impact parameter

Since autumn 2018, the Development and Climate Alliance has linked development cooperation with international climate protection by providing a platform for voluntary greenhouse gas offsetting projects which work towards the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In effect, the Alliance mobilises additional funds for the financing of important development and climate protection projects in developing countries and emerging economies. Now, over 1,000 supporters with backgrounds in business, administration and civil society are working towards this goal: these partners seek to reach climate neutrality by simultaneously avoiding, reducing and offsetting their greenhouse gas emissions.
