ISO 14065 - Biocontamination Control

The UNI EN 14065 standard provides a risk analysis and biocontamination control system (RABC - Risk Analysis Biocontamination Control System) for washing processes of textile products for critical uses, from the point of view of microbiological quality. An example of places where such fabrics are used are operating theatres, immunodeficiency departments and burns centres, where the elimination of the bacterial load is an essential prerequisite for the effectiveness of the subsequent sterilization process.The standard UNI EN 14065 is a useful application in the field of industrial laundries that handle textiles to be used in healthcare and hospital, pharmaceutical, agri-food and hotel sectors.
